The Brief
A narrow plot, southern sun, and a simple wish: a home that felt calm the moment you stepped through the door. The clients wanted spaces that breathed naturally—no forced drama, just light and proportion.
Design Strategy
We organized the house around a central courtyard, allowing every room to borrow light and air from that quiet core. Deep overhangs moderate the sun. A restrained material palette—lime plaster, local granite, reclaimed teak—creates a sense of permanence rather than fashion.
